Describe a normal day at work with 3 words
I generally avoid "normal days".
What are you most excited about the coming 6 months at work?
There are a lot of new customer projects that are very exciting at the moment. It will be fun to work with them and see how we can solve problems. In addition, I look forward to meeting new and existing customers to discuss what we can do better together.
What do you think your colleagues value most about you professionally?
I think my asset is that I think relatively much outside the box. I know that some colleagues appreciate that more than others. Regardless, I see it as my job.
What do you do when you’re not at work?
I have a lot of different interests. Outdoor life and adventures are often combined with coffee in nice places. Skiing is also an important part of my life. In addition to this, I have a great need to be creative, so building something is always fun.
What is most important for your work satisfaction?
I enjoy working creatively to solve problems and take on challenges. I work best when I work with others, both customers and colleagues.
If you could innovate without budget or technical constraints, what ‘impossible’ product would you create with our wire - and why?
I guess it would be a wire stronger than any other fiber while being infinitely flexible. I can imagine that there would be a lot of fun to make from it. It would be exciting to, for example, create ropes that are thinner and stronger than anything else that exists today. Of course it would be stainless steel. There are endless things I would like to develop if the budget were unlimited.
