Each edition, we turn the spotlight on one of our colleagues to learn more about their work, passions, and perspectives.
Describe a normal day at work with 3 words
Busy, changing and exciting.
What are you most excited about the coming 6 months at work?
I’m most excited about continuing to develop and expand our shaped wire production, as well as driving investment of new production equipment forward. Both areas represent important growth opportunities, and I’m looking forward to seeing the progress and results of the work we’re putting in.
What do you think your colleagues value most about you professionally?
I believe my colleagues value my commitment, loyalty, and engagement. I always strive to be reliable and dedicated, and I take pride in being someone they can count on to stay focused on both our shared goals and the team’s success.
What do you do when you’re not at work?
Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active by going for walks, following different sporting activities, and spending quality time with my dogs. These things help me recharge and keep a good balance between work and personal life.
What is most important for your work satisfaction?
For me, work satisfaction comes from having clear goals to strive for and the opportunity to work closely with customers to solve problems. I enjoy the challenge of finding solutions that make a real difference, and it’s rewarding to see positive outcomes from our collaboration.
If you could innovate without budget or technical constraints, what ‘impossible’ product would you create with our wire - and why?
If I were developing a new wire product, I’d want to invent a self-healing, ultra-light, high-strength steel wire that could repair microscopic fatigue cracks on its own and maintain its mechanical properties over decades of use. It would be valuable extending the lifespan of critical components while reducing maintenance and material waste.
